THEOLOGICALLY SPEAKING, HOW SHOULD CHRISTIANS LIVE AMONG PEOPLE OF OTHER FAITHS?
Western Christianity's interaction world used to happen, for the most part, across the oceans. However,"religious others" often live next door today. In fact, one public spoken during the 2009 United States presidential inauguration event's in Washington, DC, was addressed to a "good of our many understandings."
Certainly, the evangelical Christian church should do more than simply dismiss non-Christian religions as pagan without argument or comment. What it needs more then ever before is a theology of religions that is exclusively Christ honoring, biblically faithful, intellectually satisfying, compassionate, and that will encourage Spirit-powered mission.
